1864 Castillo De Olite Reserva Do Navarra

Description

We have used a Grenache from old vines planted in bush with calcareous clay soil arranged on slopes of between 1640 and 1969 ft altitude. The Tempranillo slightly complements the reserva giving structure to the wine. At the same time, it includes Cabernet that gives the necessary body to be a wine to keep. The aging of this wine has been in barrels of 132 (US gal lqd) of French and American oak and not new, respecting the elegance and delicacy of the Grenaches, preserving its aroma.Appearance: Cherry red color with medium intensity garnet hues. Aroma: Elegant aromas of a very selected grape with noble evolution in barrel and in bottle. Taste: The roundness in the palate, typical from the Grenache variety, the smoothness of the Tempranillo with a hint of extra structure from the Cabernet Sauvignon.
