Voché Graciano Doca Rioja

Description

Grape variety is Graciano, vines planted in 1940, located on a 400m facing the South. The soil is poor, sandy, rounded and with pebbles. Harvest is done at dawn so we can keep the full freshness of the grape. The grapes are hand-picked in boxes of 12kg. We do smooth pumping-ups during fermentation and cap breaking throughout the whole process. Part of the grapes are also fermented in open 500 litres French oak barrels. The ageing is done in new and second year French and Romanian oak barrels.
